The British market is still the strongest for this destination, although tourists coming to Malaga are no longer limited to the stereotype of sun and beach but also enjoy Golf and the city for an urban getaway.
Regarding British companies, Jet2.com plans to increase seat availability between the Costa del Sol and the UK this year 2017 by 45%. The routes offered are concretely between Malaga and London-Stansted, Belfast, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle.
British Airways will in turn offer a new route from Manchester to the Costa del Sol in the summer season, with a weekly flight on weekends.
Ryanair in turn will offer from the next winter season daily flights between Malaga and Brussels.
A completely new connection will be inaugurated from May with Israeli airline Sund’or, which will start operating a new route from the capital of the Costa del Sol to Tel-Aviv.
