Although for many the month of September means returning to routine and “back to school”, for many others, the long awaited moment of packing the suitcase and going on vacation has finally arrived. September in Malaga is another summer month, with excellent temperatures and warm waters, but without the hassle and prices of the high season.

However, it is already the second year that the occupation remains quite high in September; understandably, because whoever can afford to come to the Costa del Sol outside high season will obviously do so, enjoying less crowds and almost identical temperatures.

This constant growth of travellers is also reflected in the international airport of Malaga that has consolidated among the 35 largest aerodromes in Europe. We continue to beat record after record and year after year we surpass previous figures.

We continue with this same trend, since the offer of seats to the Costa del Sol until the end of 2017 will grow in 11%, according to the data available to Costa del Sol Tourism Office.

The countries of origin will be especially all the colder places, whose inhabitants go in search of sun and warmth: Sweden, Holland, Germany, Denmark and Finland, Great Britain, Russia, Belgium and Norway.

Among the airlines that most have increased their offer of flights are the Austrian low-cost Niki, the Swedish SAS, the English low-cost Jet2com, the low-cost Norwegian based in Malaga, the Dutch low-cost Transavia and finally British Airways.

Excellent Temperatures, less expenses in Hotels, car rentals and flights … there are many reasons for a trip to the Costa del Sol in September. Will you be coming to visit us?
